A large, strap leaf, epiphytic anthurium ranging from Panama to Colombia. This is the true form of Pendens that has incredibly succulent leaves unlike the incorrectly named Pendens common from Ecuadorian nurseries. This is a real collector item and is almost non-existant in cultivation.
Growth habit: Hemiepiphyte .
Water: Water when top 3cm of substrate is dry.
Ideal Position: East facing
Light: Bright, indirect light.
Humidity disclaimer: This plant will grow well outside of a terrarium or cabinet. However, all tropical plants thrive with higher humidity levels. To achieve this we suggest grouping plants together, or putting them in a bathroom or kitchen which gets regular use.
